Mid-Atlantic Parents of Multiples (MAPOM) 2017 Convention - Hosted by Fairfax County Mothers of Multiples (FCMOM)

Parents from Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland and West Virginia get together each spring! The Mid-Atlantic Parents of Multiples (MAPOM) is the parent organization that joins all multiples clubs within the Mid-Atlantic Region. A convention is held in spring to share information between clubs, socialize, and learn more about topics related to having multiple-birth children. Convention begins Friday afternoon and runs through early Saturday evening, and many Clubs stay through Saturday night to dine together and have another evening out.

Friday Night Entertainment

Ball in the House

Ball in the House is five guys, five voices, that's it. This Boston-based group takes a cappella to the next stage, making “music that’ll move ya” with beatbox and vocal bass under their cool harmonies to create a sound that's hard to believe. They've been astounding audiences nationally, with their exciting live shows (circa 250 dates a year) and with their recordings (their own CDs as well as the Cool Whip radio and TV ads). They have performed with such artists as The Beach Boys, Gladys Knight, The Jonas Brothers, Jessica Simpson, Fantasia, Blondie, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, KC & The Sunshine Band, Kool & the Gang, and numerous others. "Jaw-dropping a cappella brilliance, Top 10 song crafting skills, and genius arrangements make Ball in the House one of the best bands around bar none." (Songwriter's Monthly)
